“The whole thing was a pretty cool experience. It was the biggest games I’d ever played before and we had a sold-out house every time we played, so all of those games were pretty special,” Bouma recalled of his championship run with the host Vancouver Giants in 2007. “But definitely the final — we got an empty-netter right before the end of the game and the bench just went nuts.
