Columbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky was suspended for one game Saturday for cross-checking Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby.
The incident occurred at the 18:40 mark of the second period of Friday's game in Columbus, Ohio. Dubinsky was assessed a two-minute penalty for cross-checking.
Crosby was slow getting to his skates and went to the locker room, but returned for the third period and played the rest of the game.
"I don't try to do anything dirty," Dubinsky said after the game. "I felt my stick rode up his back a little bit. He's kind of bent over there in front.
