How could anyone have predicted Sam Bennett would help cushion the blow of low oil prices?
Could anyone have foreseen Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan or Mark Giordano providing a safe haven of sorts for the tens of thousands of Calgarians who have either been laid off recently or fear their day is coming soon.
Fact is, these are uncertain — if not downright scary — times in Calgary.
