Twitter celebrated its 10th birthday Monday, which means that for a full decade now, everyone using the social platform has been the smartest person in the room.

Or the wittiest, or the darkest, or the crudest, or the most (or least) politically correct, or the person who got online the fastest with the 140-character news item, beating the re-tweeters by a couple of seconds.
Its demise has been predicted for years; most assuming that it would be like so many other online ventures that boomed briefly and then burned out, rendered obsolete by the next big thing.
