No matter what ruling arbitrator Robert Herzog had made Saturday, Senators winger Alex Chiasson was going to feel a bit beat up.
It has to be unpleasant to hear your bosses criticize and pick apart your game every chance they are given over a process that lasts five hours, right Alex?
"You said it," Chiasson admitted on a conference call Monday. "You got your answer."
In the end, Herzog awarded Chiasson a salary of $1.2 million for the 2015-16 season, a figure that was much closer to the $1 million offer the Senators had made than the $2.
