SAN JOSE, CALIF. - Anyone inside the raucous Shark Tank on Monday night who didn’t get goosebumps after the truly stirring guitar rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner by Metallica’s James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett, well, they don’t have a pulse.
In that case, maybe someone should have checked the Shark players for theirs.
From the flickering lights installed in the wrist bands handed out to fans as they entered the Shark Tank, to the giant Shark head that is lowered from the rafters to the ice for the home players to skate through, the SAP Center is second to none when it comes to the electric atmosphere ignited by the pre-game festivities,
That being said, where has the push been for the adrenalin-lacking Sharks, who have come out flat in every first period in this series.
