Adirondack Thunder Forward Micheal Kirkpatrick Runner-up for Rookie of the Year

Adirondack Thunder forward Michael Kirkpatrick has been named the runner-up for the CCM East Coast Hockey League Rookie of the Year as reported by the Thunder website.

Kirkpatrick finished just 6 points behind the award winner Matt Willows of the Florida Everblades in league scoring. Michael led all East Coast Hockey League rookies in goals with 29 which was also good enough to tie him for third in the league for goals. He was second in rookie points with 60.

The CCM Rookie of the Year winner of the John A. Daley Memorial Trophy is voted upon annually by ECHL coaches, broadcasters, media relations directors and media members.
