Adirondack Thunder Drop Final Game of Regular Season

The Thunder lost Saturday to the Monarchs who they will meet in the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The Adirondack Thunder and Manchester Monarchs met on Saturday night for the last Thunder game of the regular season in front of a packed barn in Glen Falls, New York. The Monarchs edged the Thunder by a score of 5-4 and the two teams will battle in the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs beginning Wednesday in Manchester.

As reported by the Thunder website, the Monarchs opened the scoring around the mid-point of the 1st period when Michael Boivin's shot found it's way into the net through traffic in front of Thunder goalie Drew Fielding.
