A more evenly-played game Sunday led to Boston pushing late, but the Calgary Inferno kept the heat on with a 4-1 win.
Calgary carried over its exceptional offensive output from the night before, beating the Boston Blades 4-1 at Winsport's Joan Snyder Rink Sunday morning. Sarah Davis had a goal and an assist, and Brianne Jenner added to her points streak with another goal on the weekend.
A quick turnaround from Saturday night's matchup didn't slow down the Inferno's offense, which threw 42 shots at Genevieve Lacasse; however, as the game progressed, Boston's skaters seem to find their own legs, trading shots with the Inferno and trying to capitalize on a few defensive breakdowns.
