The players all know where they want to be at the end and now it’s time for the seven-day fight to begin.
The annual holiday-season hockey tradition, seemingly as old as the holiday season itself, unofficially kicked off as the 37 teams were unveiled for the 38th edition of the Mac’s AAA Midget Hockey Tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
“Every team loves to be here (at the Mac’s tournament) and the guys really rally around it” said Tyler McCarry of the Alberta ‘AAA’ Midget Hockey League’s Calgary Northstars. “They all want to be in that final game at the Saddledome.
