Wide Receiver Kenny Lawler reportedly set to declare for 2016 NFL Draft

On Tuesday, it was reported that Lawler will be declaring for the 2016 NFL Draft and foregoing his senior season at Cal, according to Joe Schad of ESPN. Lawler would join junior quarterback Jared Goff on the growing list of Bears leaving the “Bear Raid” offense after an eight-win season that included a 55-36 win over Air Force in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl.

Lawler, who was awarded first-team All-Pac-12 this year, finished the season with 52 catches for 658 yards and a team-leading 13 touchdowns. The receiver would end his Cal career with 143 receptions on 1,706 and 27 touchdowns.
