For approximately 60 seconds, Cal fans lost their minds — and for good reason.
Top-10 basketball recruit Caleb Swanigan spurned Berkeley on April 10, committing to Michigan State instead. He had previously been rumored to join forces with Ivan Rabb and Jaylen Brown as part of a package deal to play for Cal.
That talk quickly fired back up Thursday when ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reported that Swanigan decommitted from Michigan State.
