USC forward Chimezie Metu could be a first-round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, but he didn’t help his stock by getting ejected during Sunday night’s 89-71 win over Washington State. Metu struck the groin area of Cougar guard Carter Skaggs with his hand, also earning him a suspension for the first half of this Thursday’s game against the California Golden Bears at Haas Pavilion.
The quasi-suspension was an action taken by USC and approved by the Pac-12. Below is a video of the incident, which Bill Walton described as “a crime against humanity.
