Talking about the no-line

The culprit for Cal football’s recent struggles is something no one saw coming at the beginning of the season: The offense, the vaunted Bear Raid of #drop50 fame, has not looked good since the third game of the season, when it put up 45 points against Texas.

The Bears are 5-2, with consecutive losses to Utah and UCLA, and while the defense hasn’t been great in either game, the offense has really disappointed, scoring only 32 points per game against FBS opponents, compared with 36.7 points in such matchups in 2014. And the majority of the blame can fall right onto the offensive line.
