Rating the Bears: Cal vs. ASU

A regression was inevitable. If you flip a coin once and get heads, that’s not unexpected. Twice in a row? Interesting, but still reasonable odds. Three in a row? Now you’re getting lucky. Four?! Highly unlikely. After winning three games in a row that came down the the closing minutes of the fourth quarter, Cal could not make it four in a row and improve to 5-0. According to our season predictions, we were most likely to be 3-1 going into the ASU game. We didn’t expect a 10-2 team, but with enough bounces in our direction, it was possible.
