In their final tune-up before Pac-12 play, Cal got off to a slow start against Seattle, digging themselves into a hole early. However, by halftime, they made the game close again. In the first half, Cal depended on the contributions of Justice Sueing (12 points) and Darius McNeill (10 points). The Golden Bears were out rebounded by Seattle 19-7.
In the second half, the Golden Bears stayed competitive for most of the time, but foul trouble plagued them as McNeill picked up his fourth foul with slightly over eight minutes remaining.
