James Looney is the sole representative for the California Golden Bears at the 2018 NFL Combine. He and the rest of the defensive linemen will be working out bright and early on Sunday morning, which will be livestreamed by the NFL. (Unless he’s decided to switch to corner or quarterback.)
Looney needs a big showing to up his draft stock. His NFL Combine profile scores him as a 5.15 (on a 10-point scale, corresponding to “[b]etter-than-average chance to make NFL roster”) and their assessment of him was less-than-rosy—particularly of his 2017 play.
