ATLANTA - When Cal senior Rachel Bootsma completed the 100 backstroke finals Friday night at the NCAA Championships, it was uncertain if she was happy or relieved.
But one thing was for certain - Bootsma was a national champion yet again.
Bootsma won her third NCAA title in the 100 back and the Bears remain in contention for the team title heading into Saturday's final day of racing at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech University.
