Better late than never is the expression and the California Golden Bears (along with their fellow California-based schools) are finally going to resume voluntary athletic activities.
Though about a week later than their Pac-12 counterparts, the Bears are scheduled to return to voluntary workouts on Monday. With such an event, the news started pouring in.
There will, of course, be multiple restrictions on the basis of their return during the coronavirus pandemic and the Mercury News did a great job of breaking those down.
There will be multiple phases and as they note, the training and conditioning will take place all outdoors, in Memorial Stadium and on the Maxwell Family Field.
