For eight long, dark, barren months, we have starved. The wells of college football dried up, leaving us trapped in the desert known only as Wyking Jones. For eight months, we had to sustain ourselves with the crumbs of spring practice reports, the mere glimpses of Kuony Deng in Last Chance U, and Coach Alexander’s Twitter. We’ve watched the end of the USC game far more times than we’re willing to admit in polite company, and we sent that Sports Illustrated #TAKERS article to our friends and immediate family.
