Cal defensive end Kyle Kragen has been named to the midseason watch list for the Ted Hendricks Award, Bears athletics announced.
The selection committee will cast its first vote in late November for the Hendricks Award, given annually to the nation’s top defensive end.
Kragen’s inclusion on the watch list is the latest in a recent string of honors for the senior from Danville. He has been named to midseason All-Pac-12 teams by ESPN and the Bay Area News Group.
After Cal’s Sept. 26 win at Washington, Kragen became the Bears’ first Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week since 2012.
