This week I broke down our Cal Bears over at my PAC-12 blog. In this video I look at the Ole Miss Rebels' three biggest offensive plays against us, and look at how we adjusted to limit such plays in the final three quarters. I look at how Cal switched between its base 3-4 defense and a single-safety look, to a little nickel package (2 DL, 4 LB's, 5 DB's) with a split safety look to take away the big pass plays that killed us early. I also look at the Cal defense’s increasing emphasis on interior blitzes to create some big plays of their own, including a pick-6 by Cameron Goode and the final blitz by Devante Downs.
