We almost have a theme! The Mekari brothers are... brothers. And Jaylinn’s uncle Jeremiah Hawkins is a freshman receiver for the Bears. It would have been nice if we could have had all four Bears as captains, but we can’t question the coaches for having their own algorithm for choosing captains.
