The battle for 5-7 rages on this Saturday. Barring some bizarro bowl openings, Cal and UCLA will conclude their 2016 seasons next Saturday. Kickoff is announced for 4 PM Pacific in Berkeley, 7 PM Eastern. The game will be a national telecast on ESPN2.
Cal and UCLA each come into this game 4-7, reeling from decisive defeats to rivals Stanford and USC. UCLA came into this season with Pac-12 title aspirations, only to see them unravel when Josh Rosen went down midseason with a shoulder injury.
Cal will finish up the season with two afternoon games, although both will end up concluding in the early evening hours, meaning Cal has played a grand total of eight night games, three mid-afternoon games and one Australia game.
