Cal vs. SDSU 2nd quarter thread: Bears dominate stat sheet, tied 14-14 due to mistakes

Cal started the game going 3-and-out. San Diego State moved the ball a little but the Cal defense forced a 4th and short stop. The Bears had a 50 yard pass into the red zone wiped out by a holding penalty, so they had to punt it away. After another Cal defensive stop, Jordan Veasy fumbled it on the Cal side of the field, leading to a quick strike by the Aztecs.

Davis Webb led the Bears right down the field though, converting a 3rd down throw deep for 30+ yards to Vic Wharton, another 1st down throw to Patrick Worstell, and then a 33 yard touchdown strike to Bug Rivera.
