Despite personnel losses for the Oregon Ducks, miscues by the California Golden Bears were just too much. It looked like the Cal defense of old, allowing 328 yards on the ground—331 before the victory formations—en route to a 45–24 Oregon win.
It’s not unreasonable for a team to have an off game. Let’s hope this is the only one the Bears have in 2017.
Fill out your report card for the game by Sunday night–ish. I’m sure the grades will be just stellar, particularly for the run offense and defense.
