The California Golden Bears are entering the 2020 college football season as the No. 43 ranked team, according to the AMWAY Coaches Poll presented by USA Today Sports.
That’s right, the Bears received just five total points ahead of the season by the coaches in the poll, a far cry from a few analysts that predicted a 10-win season at least. Their opening rank on the coaches poll is just seventh among the 12 Pac-12 schools, landing ahead of rival Stanford, in a bright moment.
