Davis Webb still has a lot of work to win the starting job at Cal, but he is coming into the fall with the most playing experience so there is some expectation that he will be one of those strongly in the mix.
Webb is definitely looked upon with high regard by his college peers. He was an Elite 11 counselor to the top high school quarterback prospects in the nation this summer.
