We know there will be Cal Bears at the Tokyo Olympics, and on Wednesday, one of them was revealed, as Alex Morgan was named to the 18-player roster for the U.S. women’s soccer team for the upcoming Olympic tournament.
Morgan will be making her third appearance at the Olympics, after playing a vital role in helping the United States win gold at the 2012 London Olympics and featuring at the 2016 Rio Olympics as well.
It’s been a busy several months for Morgan, who after delivering her first child last year, returned to action with a short-term loan at English club Tottenham Hotspur.
