The California Golden Bears come off the bye week getting ready for their annual trip to Los Angeles, and as usual they are not expected to win. Cal is currently listed as 7.5 point underdogs to their baby brothers, the UCLA Bruins.
UCLA started the season 4-0, convincingly pummeling Virginia and Arizona and just escaping BYU. But they then dropped two in a row to Arizona State at home and Stanford on the road, getting beaten by double digits in both games. The Bruins have aspirations to win the Pac-12 and they are doing their best to navigate with true freshman quarterback Josh Rosen and without linebacker Myles Jack (lost for the year), but they will have to turn things around starting this week to have any chance.
