The Bears dug themselves a hole early on but recovered in exciting fashion and finished the half down 36 to 37. Cal was led by Juhwan Harris-Dyson who had 10 points on 3-5 shooting but was 4-4 from the line. The team was rejuvenated after a week off. Defensive rotation was faster. The press forced turnovers early, and recovered even with a few breaks. The Bears only committed 4 turnovers and forced 10 from Stanford. Cal scored 15 points from those 10 turnovers.
2ND HALF
The Bears mounted a furious comeback, but after the losses of Darius McNeill and Juhwan Harris-Dyson, they lacked the firepower to finish the comeback.
