The Bears had the lead just once in the half. That pretty much tells the whole story. The Bears were sloppy with ball and committed too many offensive fouls. Santa Clara had 22 points in the paint which was more than half of their total points. The Bears were outplayed in every statistical category of the game other than steals. Matt Bradley had 8 points on 2-9 shooting, going 0-3 from beyond the arc but 4-5 from the line. The Bears only made 9 field goals in the first half.
