Cal looked to carry the momentum of Sunday’s win into today's game as they came out strong. The Bears defense pestered the Buff’s offense, forcing 8 turnovers after 12 minutes of play. On offense, the Bears looked to be spreading the scoring around as 6 players had points on the board before the end of the half. Led by Juhwan Harris-Dyson who had 5 points and 1 steal for the half. At one point Cal had a 5 point lead before the Buffs evened it up and took the lead with just under 3 minutes left in the half.
