On Saturday night in Berkeley, the Bears walked away with a 48-46 win over Arizona State, improving their record to 7-5. Junior quarterback Jared Goff had one of his best games of the year, throwing 30-for-51 and 542 yards, a career high. Engineering a two-minute drill at the end of the fourth quarter against the Sun Devils, Goff drove the team into field goal range, giving kicker Matt Anderson a chance to win the game.
