UCLA went after Cal commit Paco Perez for quite some time. And eventually their pitch won out. After visiting the Bruins and the Bears in subsequent week, Perez flipped his commitment from UCLA to Cal.

Perez flipping is a tough one to lose for the Bears. Perez has some of the nicest tape of any of our freshmen coming from this year's class. He is very physical at the point of attack and could bring back the nasty to a Cal offensive line that has been up and down in the past few years.
