On Saturday, Cal football came away with the 35-7 victory at home against San Diego State. With this win, the Bears open up their season undefeated with a record of 2-0.
Cal struggled to get things going early giving up a touchdown on the first drive of the game. Quarterback Jared Goff also threw an interception and the Bears trailed 0-7 at the end of the first. Cal, however, was able to settle down and go on a 35 – 0 run and ultimately come up with the blowout victory.
Goff finished the game throwing 17-24 for 321 yards and one interception.
