With National Signing Day taking place Wednesday, teams around the country added new names and faces to their programs. For the Cal football team, this year brought a recruiting class of 25 that’s ranked 40th by ESPN and that the Bears hope will fill the many spots left behind by the players leaving from the 2015-16 squad.
“I think every year, we improve. We improve our overall process, we have a better idea of the kind of student-athlete that can be successful here. We signed everyone we expected to sign,” said Cal head coach Sonny Dykes. “Overall, we certainly improved our length, in the offensive line, defensive line.
