Cal finally battled and competed for its first conference victory but ultimately fell short against the Colorado Buffalo’s Thursday night. It was nice to see the Bears make things interesting down the stretch against the visiting Buffalos, but the bottom line is this season is completely in the trash can.
We hoped it was a one year struggle with Wyking Jones at the helm but it has become clear this program will not achieve respectability until we move on from this dumpster hire. Cal has some capable players but this team is completely incapable of putting together strong enough performances to keep up in the Pac 12 in one of the conference’s worst seasons in history.
