Coach Tedford is leading Fresno State to his first bowl since 2011.
The Bulldogs beat the Boise State Broncos by 11 to end the regular season, but lost by 3 the next week in the Mountain West Championship; had the Bulldogs won, then Tedford would probably face off against his old team in the Oregon Ducks.
Tedford will be searching for his first bowl win since December 27, 2008.
