Against USC, Cal benefits from two-RB sets: Bears links

In Cal’s Oct. 22 loss at UCLA, Jared Goff had little time in the pocket. The Bears’ labored against the pass rush, missing a litany of blocks and surrendering five sacks.

So Cal coaches spent much of last week re-examining their offensive playbook in hopes of better protecting Goff. Against USC, they incorporated more sets featuring two running backs into the game plan.
