The clock is ticking down to National Signing Day on February 4, but Sonny Dykes and the Bears aren't done putting together their 2015 recruiting class just yet.
The Bears added 3-Star WR Brandon Singleton on Monday, bringing their total number of 2015 commits to 21.
Singleton is a 6'0, 170 lb speedster from Boutte, LA (Hahnville) who chose Cal over offers from Arkansas, Georgia Tech and Minnesota. He becomes the 4th WR in Cal's 2015 class - Kanawai Noa, Greyson Bankhead and Napa product Austin Aaron are already committed. All are three-star prospects, with Aaron the highest-ranked and Singleton slightly above Bankhead and Noa in 247 Sports' composite rating (a combination of ratings across all the major scouting services).
Singleton had been committed to Georgia Tech until about a week ago, but de-committed and quickly scheduled a visit to Cal. After liking what he saw late last week, Singleton - the Louisiana State record holder in 300-meter hurdles - returned home before announcing his commitment on Monday.
The Bears are likely done adding wide receivers to their 2015 class, but they still have their eyes on a few high-profile targets. Four-star CB Frank Buncom is set to decide between Stanford, Cal and Notre Dame in the next few days, and four-star Hawai'i OG Semisi Uluave is high on their priority list as well.
