Texas and Oklahoma have informed the Big 12 they are leaving and will apply to the SEC, meaning the Big 12 is in limbo as each school scrambles to survive without the conference’s flagship members. The Big has discussed adding schools, and according to ESPN’s Heather Dinich, they’ve discussed adding BYU, Cincinnati and Houston.
“They (Big 12) obviously want to keep it going, and who do they grab?” Dinich said on ESPN’s Get Up show. “I can tell you, last week, they talked on a shallow surface of, ‘What do we do if Oklahoma and Texas leave?
