University of San Francisco golfer Annika Borrelli shot a bogey-free 67 on Monday and took the first-round lead by one stroke in the Siegfried & Jensen's Women's Open.
Borrelli made five birdies through 11 holes and parred the last seven holes at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. She’s one stroke ahead of former Bingham High School star Sirene Blair and Cristiana Ciasca, a University of Wyoming golfer from Corner Canyon High School.
Blair, who turned pro in 2017 after her San Diego State golf career, was 5 under before bogeying Nos. 16 and 17 and birdieing No. 18.
