PROVO—For the second year in a row, the Utah State Aggies beat the BYU Cougars comfortably, this time topping them 45-20 on Friday night at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
The Aggies scored early as Tipa Galeai returned an interception for a touchdown, and they led 21-0 early in the second quarter.
The Cougars cut the deficit to 21-7 with 4:28 remaining in the second quarter and then had a field goal try as time expired before halftime, but Skyler Southam missed it.
