Utah moves ahead of Minnesota to No. 7 in the AP Top 25

Utah's football team moved up one spot to No. 7 in Sunday's AP Top 25, thanks to Minnesota's 23-19 loss Saturday at Iowa.

The ranking is another high mark in November for the Utes (9-1) in the program's Pac-12 era. As a Mountain West member, an unbeaten Utah team was No. 7 on Nov. 30, 2008.

Pac-12 North champion Oregon (9-1) remained No. 6. The only change in the top five was Georgia switching places with Alabama, as the Bulldogs moved to No. 4 after a 21-14 victory over Auburn. Alabama beat Mississippi State 38-7, but the loss of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to a season-ending injury may have affected the perception of the Crimson Tide.
