Albuquerque, N.M. • The Utah State Aggies scored swiftly and often in Saturday’s 52-13 win over the North Texas Mean Green. Of Utah State’s seven touchdowns, four came on pass plays.
Senior receivers Jalen Greene and Aaren Vaughns provided the bulk of the receptions for the Aggies, who complied 359 receiving yards as a team. Greene and Vaughns had 260 of those by themselves.
Greene caught six passes for 151 yards, his longest being a 67-yard catch in the second quarter. That play resulted in his only touchdown of the game, but gave the Aggies a 35-7 lead and complete control of the game.
