The University of Utah’s School of Medicine has planned a candlelight vigil for 7 p.m. Monday in memory of physician Sarah Hawley, who began her residency at the school last year.
Salt Lake City police found 27-year-old Hawley and her boyfriend, Travis Geddes, dead at their Sugar House home Jan. 27. They say Geddes, 30, shot Hawley before killing himself.
The vigil will be held at the University Guest House, where parking is limited. The School of Medicine had also suggested a moment of silence for Hawley at noon Monday for those able to participate.
