“I feel like I’ve learned so much from this experience. I feel like I proved to myself that I can play at this level and I can bring something to an NBA team. It’s just about proving that every day.”
SALT LAKE CITY — After his final NBA Summer League game in Las Vegas, Tyler Haws was in the middle of an interview when a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ front office approached him.
Haws politely turned his attention and thanked the high-powered Cavs’ employee, who in turn promised to stay in touch after summer league. The Cleveland executive added that he hoped to watch the former BYU star play in Spain this upcoming season.
