A 6 is never a good score for a professional golfer. So when you get five 6’s on your scorecard as Daniel Summerhays did in Sunday’s final round of the U.S. Open, it’s not a good day.
Summerhays faltered in the fourth round with a 9-over-par 81, his worst score ever in the eight major golf championships he has competed in and finished in 65th place at 12-over-par 300 for the week.
