The reunion is finally here for three former BYU Basketball stars.
On Saturday, Jimmer Fredette, Brandon Davies, and Charles Abouo will take the court for Team Fredette in the first round of The Basketball Tournament.
It’s the first time the three former teammates will play in a competitive game together since BYU’s 2010-11 Sweet Sixteen team.
Fredette has spent the last two seasons playing professionally in China, while Davies just finished a championship season in Lithuania. For the last three years Abouo has played with Denain in France.
The Cougar alumni are playing for the $2 million championship prize, and Jimmer is also playing to impress NBA scouts in an attempt to return to the best basketball league in the world.
